I’m actually really glad to write this review. I appreciate it so much that Let’s Basil sent me a Thyme Tote Bag and plant seeds, from The Edible Collection: Thyme and Basil Tote Bags. Also, the founders of Let’s Basil (CK and Shanice) are among the sweetest people I’ve ever worked/collaborated with, and that makes me cherish the tote bag even more. I can’t possibly thank them enough for their kindness.
Let’s start the review. But first of all, I want to compliment the packaging. So cute! The bag was placed neatly in a cute box, in a courier flyer. There was no waste, as the packaging was simple.
There, a card and the bag inside the box, and the seeds taped on the lid.
Thyme Tote Bag is genuinely beautiful. I love the color, although the shade is actually slightly different than what is shown on the Instagram – it’s actually a lighter shade of bronze, whereas on the Instagram, it’s closer to orange-ish brown. But it’s okay, it must be the lighting effects.
On the bag, the prints say “Spend Thyme Together.” and “But hey, don’t forget to spend time with nature and adopt its simplicity and peace. #theediblecollection”. The font is felicitous and the arrangement is neat.
The material is surprisingly really good! I mean, I knew its composition is canvas but I didn’t expect its quality to be so good. I can now be sure that the bag is strong, durable and worth it – and I’m sure it can even carry my laptop + one thick book or two + purse + phone + emergency make-up + portable jewelry box bag all at the same time without being torn. The width is 44 cm, the height is 41 cm, and the weight of the bag is 0.3 kg. If you’re a fan of smaller bags (like me) maybe you won’t like to use this tote bag, but trust me, it’s so useful when you need to carry many things all at once. Also, additional information: the bag has an inside pocket for smaller items like keys, card holder etc.
I personally rate Thyme Tote Bag 10/10. Bonus points for the sustainability efforts and love for nature.
