Bags and Shoes

Will I ever shut up about bags and shoes? Never.

As I always say: Bags are arguably the most impactful fashion items, and shoes complement our outfits while protecting our feet. You can’t refuse to have bags and shoes, that doesn’t make much sense. Anyway, here is the list of businesses you have to consider to buy bags and shoes from, and the reasons why.

  • Ecosusi

1950s graceful vintage styles meet the latest modern styles are the elements that give unique characters to Ecosusi products. ‘Beautiful’ isn’t the only word to describe Ecosusi.

Cruelty-free; Ecosusi are animal lovers, and only use vegan leather made from polyurethane, a polymer, and sustainable materials.

Ecosusi products are claimed to be designed by designers from all over the world and made in a trusted factory in China that manufactures the highest quality products. They’re also not too expensive and offer quite a generous amount of promo codes (including the affiliate coupon code).

  • Cream Couch

Based in South East Asia, Cream Couch keeps up with the trendy standards, timeless aesthetics and transcendent lifestyle. Cream Couch fashion items are made for all age groups, without compromising on quality and versatility.

Every piece from Cream Couch are at least 70% handcrafted from their signature canvas and premium microfibre leather materials.

Their bags are minimalistic but insanely, stylishly beautiful. Simple yet powerful enough to captivate our eyes and attention. I would consider Cream Couch an affordable luxury brand – the same category Charles & Keith is in.

  • JW PEI

Modern, feminine, fun, and creative under $100. JW PEI are made to celebrate women’s beauty and strength, while following trends effortlessly at the same time.

JW PEI products are sustainable, due to the usage of high quality canvas, polyurethane, and certified fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

  • Let’s Basil

At the moment, Let’s Basil only sell tote bags. They intended to contribute to the nature by getting rid of plastic bags, and slowly started with The Edible Collection: Thyme and Basil Tote Bags, which are made from canvas, washable, and reusable time after time, with high craftmanship.

Thyme and Basil are created for everyone regardless of genders, age, etc. – or more specifically, they are created for everyone who cares for Earth.

Fun fact: Let’s Basil give out herbs/edible plant seeds in the box with every purchase.

  • Chic Style

Affordable, comfortable, and trendy. Chic Style bags and shoes are cute and (possibly) targeted for young women. The colors of the fashion items of Chic Style are mostly soft and radiate comfort; and the designs radiate carefreeness.

Perfect for ladies who prefer simplicity but still want to look lovely.

  • DHYA

DHYA was launched very recently. Nevertheless, the designs are exquisite and they deserve so much support.

Is there anything that can really beat the charm and beauty of traditional-ish patterns? The answer is obviously no. While modernity rules the fashion industry with fashion trends from other eras coming back as the ‘spices’, DHYA take the risk of promoting and selling footwear and clutches with 80%-100% traditional patterns/designs – and honestly, that’s a brave and praiseworthy move.

Also, it’s worth mentioning that 5% of DHYA profits will be donated to different animal shelters every month.

  • Milliot & Co.

THE HEELS SCREAM SUMMER PARADISE! I’m sorry for kinda screaming but I have good reasons, alright? The shoes are a summer dream, hello??? Look at them. Look at the colors. As calming as the blue sky. They don’t even need to be fancy to convince me to buy them.

Milliot & Co. fashion items are reasonably-priced as well as having qualities and ‘personalities’ that define each one of them. For some reasons, they have the most perfect colors possible for the most perfect moods of their shoes and bags. I’m speechless. Whoever their designers are, I’d like to thank them. They’ve done an amazing job.

I checked the website – and it’s stated that Milliot & Co. “aim to react to the latest trends and constant feedback from customers to deliver new ideas in the right price, right place and at the right time”. Now, thinking about it, I’d like to thank the customers who’s given feedback to Milliot & Co. too.

  • Jolly Vintage

You’re a vintage fashion lover? Or you’re obsessed with 1950s/1960s styles? Maybe you love Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn? Or, or, you’re just trying something different? Whatever the reason is, I’m sure the shoes by Jolly Vintage would give you the satisfaction you deserve.

If you’re not into vintage… well, supposedly it can’t hurt to try some vintage shoes, can it? They look nice, and the heels are quite low, I’m sure they’re not painful.

P/S: Use code Emilia at the checkout when you purchase anything from Jolly Vintage.

Oops! Anya has done it again.

Anya Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy, best known as Anya Taylor-Joy, attended the 2021 SAG Awards in a custom Vera Wang and $800000 worth of Tiffany & Co. Her faultless beauty has managed to stunned the audience and her photos from that event were being reposted numerous times on Instagram and Twitter. Tess Garcia from InStyle wrote “…The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy is making a name for herself as a red carpet darling” in her article and continued by stating “…the actress not only lived up to the high standards set by her previous looks of the season — she exceeded them.”

Not only did Taylor-Joy was acclaimed by Harper’s Bazaar as one of the best-dressed stars, she also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her role in The Queen’s Gambit.

The best part is? That was not the first time Taylor-Joy attends an award show as a style icon (and of course, not the first the time she won an award either). Let’s take a look at her previous red-carpet looks.

Nourisya Nazriena Explains About Shaklee in This Interview

There was a time when I was so curious about the reasons plenty of my friends and acquaintances worked under Shaklee Corporation. This week, I had the chance to formally ask one of my good friends, Nourisya Nazriena bt. Nor Risam (19), about the company, her career, and her success. Continue reading for the details from the interview, from Nourisya’s point of view.

What’s so special about Shaklee? Why did you choose to work under Shaklee and not other companies? Can you share the main benefits?

What’s so special about Shaklee? Before I started to involve myself in Shaklee, I was wondering the same thing. “Why people love Shaklee so much?” Once I started to consume one of their products, which was Vita-C Plus, later then I knew why. I am so in love with the effects of Shaklee’s products. It is not because I am one of the distributors, but because I’ve experienced them (the effects). There are so many things to be told if I’m talking about “what’s so special about Shaklee”.

First, Shaklee products are 100% organic. Their products are free from harmful chemicals that you may find in some other products. Other than that, Shaklee in Malaysia was founded in 1994. It has been 27 years already, while in the United States, Shaklee was established in 1956. Shaklee is indeed a strong company, and people highly demand their products since forever. After all, health is wealth – that’s why people will non-stop look for a health supplement, especially Shaklee’s so trusted products.

I am so proud to inform you that Shaklee does not need a public figure to market their products because their products are already well-known. And yeah! We, the consumers, are the ambassadors of Shaklee’s products. Each of us got so much positive feedback to be shared!

Why do I choose to be under Shaklee?

Shaklee business is not a pyramid scheme! You can surpass your leader’s bonus if your sales are higher compared to your leader’s! You can achieve a higher rank than your leader! To put it plainly, Shaklee is a very fair business. And with Shaklee, you can get unlimited bonus. You work harder, you can gain more.

What is written on our ‘dashboard’ is precisely the amount that Shaklee transfers into our bank account!

Shaklee is not a “Skim Cepat Kaya” (get-rich-quick scheme). But, with Shaklee, you can be rich. You can chase your dreams, and you can live a luxurious life – only if you are committed, you are full of spirit, and give up is never your option.

With Shaklee, I’ve got so many new experiences and knowledge about the world of business. With Shaklee, I’ve got an opportunity to help my parents. With Shaklee, I learn a lot about life.

I didn’t even like being a businesswoman. Business was the field where I used to not want to be in at all. (But) when I decided to get involved in Shaklee’s business, I trusted (and still trust) the concept of rizq. I started to do something that I was so afraid of, and I believed in myself. I thought that I could do this. Alhamdulillah, it has been four months and a half already, since I joined Shaklee. I believe that I can do more than this and I will always look forward to be a successful ‘HEALTHPRENEUR’.

That’s a really great response. May I ask what’s your biggest motivation or inspiration?

I want to call my biggest inspiration MY BIG WHY.

It is common to have ups and downs in whatever we do. Whenever I feel down or frustrated while doing this business, I always remember MY BIG WHYS. MY BIG WHYS are:

  1. My parents – I want to give back (repay) to my parents. I am a grown-up lady already. 19 is more than enough for me to make sure I’m not being too dependent on my parents. I don’t want to ask for their money anymore, I don’t want to burden them anymore. (Because) now, it’s my turn to give my money to them and fulfill their needs. I want to give my money to them every month although I am still a student. And my biggest goal is to bring them to Makkah, and to fulfill this wish, I have to start saving from now on. May Allah ease everything, In shaa Allah Aamiin Ya Allah Ya Mujib.
  2. Me – I want to be a better me. Being involved in Shaklee business changed me a lot. I now think more positive, more productive, and more rational than before. Alhamdulillah, my mentors and my leaders in Shaklee taught me many things that changed my mindset.
  3. My family – I want to make my family proud of me of course! I want to make them happy. I want to buy anything that they want even though I am young and still studying.
  4. My uplines (leader) – They are always there for me, to excite me, to give me motivations and all. They are the ones who always push me to move forward and never give up. Everything that I have learned from my uplines is so precious. I am so grateful to have them in my life. Even though we are strangers at first, but now, we are like a huge family that struggles together to be successful people!
  5. My downlines (teammates) – Why do I want to quit when I have the downlines that I have to guide? I want them to move along with me to achieve our goals in this business. They are my responsibilities that I have to look after constantly.

All in all, I always hold up to these quotes: “Trust the process, trust the timing of God”, “One fine day, my day will come. I just have to be sabr and trust in Allah’s plans”.

What is your biggest success under Shaklee?

Alhamdulillah, so far, I have achieved highest personal sales, RM2000+, and highest total group sales, almost RM7000 in a month. My bonus is almost RM1000 at that time and my personal profit is almost RM300. This month, I am struggling to rank up to a supervisor.

What are your Top 10 Shaklee products? And the ones you recommend the most?

  1. ESP (Recover my breakout skin by fading out the dark spot, and maintaining my weight)
  2. VIT C (Recover my breakout skin from active acne and boost my immune)
  3. ALFALFA COMPLEX (Detox and fading out the dark spot on my face)
  4. MOISTURIZER SPF YOUTH (It works on my face! Not too oily! Plus, it includes SPF50+, so I don’t have to use any other sunblock anymore)
  5. GEL CLEANSER YOUTH (This is such a miracle cleanser ever! Soap-free, acts as a scrub too, and so good to remove our blackheads)
  6. OMEGA GUARD (I lose my weight from 52 kg to 46 kg, thanks to Omega Guard!)
  7. HERBAL BLEND (It works to remove dead cells on my skin. No more dry skin!)
  8. VIVIX (I am so surprised at how Vivix helps my digestive system!)
  9. NIGHT CREAM YOUTH-LIGHT (This one is so nice! Makes my face looks glowing at night)

The one that I recommend the most is ESP! ESP is such all-in-one product! With ESP, you can boost energy, gain weight, lose weight, lose dark circles, lose acne, fade dark spots, and heal menstrual pain. I am so in love because it helps me a lot in recovering from my skin breakout.

Plus, ESP is a low sugar drink, non-GMO soy and contains niacinamide which is so good for our skin!

I would like to share my feedback with you!

Last but not least, do you have special words for people who also work with Shaklee?

What I’d like to say to Shaklee distributors out there: Never stop what you’re doing now! Remember how you start the business and YOUR BIG WHY! Have faith in what Allah has planned for you. Your victory is waiting for you right in front of you; GO GET IT! Do not think of what people said, let them be. Okay?

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER. GIVING UP IS NEVER AN OPTION, REMEMBER THAT! TRUST THE PROCESS, TRUST THE TIMING OF GOD.

DON’T FORGET YOUR GRATITUDE JOURNAL EVERY DAY BECAUSE STRUGGLE ENDS WHEN GRATITUDE BEGINS.

Love and Heartbreak

Heartbreak sucks, but it happens to the best of us. Sometimes, heartbreak serves as the best experience for us to shape our personality and/or to be more careful in the future. This doesn’t mean you deserve any kind of heartbreaks. It just means you need it; just like everyone needs it. No one gets to choose why and how it happens.

I feel like heartbreak is part of what makes love so beautiful. If you really think about it, they do complement each other well. True heartbreak won’t exist without love and vice versa. They say love is supposed to heal and not hurt you – but in my opinion, perfect heartbreak heals and hurts at the same time (and in a lot of cases, heals more than it does hurt).

The thing is, you should never let anyone break you heart repeatedly. There’s a thick line between making mistakes and actually being toxic, and if anyone crosses the line, you have every right to cut the person out of your life. It’s the least you can do to protect your own happiness. Heartbreak is important for everyone’s growth, but it should be healthy and actually encourage character development with minimal destruction; not the heartbreak from finding out your boyfriend cheats or something like that.

Examples of healthy heartbreak:

  • letting go of your past,
  • forgiving someone who wronged you but has apologized and shown so much efforts to change for the better,
  • breaking up on good terms,
  • leaving your family and childhood home so you can begin your adulthood,
  • leaving or removing toxic people from your life.

See the patterns?

When you love someone else more than you love yourself, you let heartbreak consumes you but when you love yourself more, you let heartbreak teaches you life lessons. Both will change you – the only difference is one will give you trauma, trust issues or mental health issues, and the other one will not. That’s why I always dislike it when people defend abusive partners and abusive families – the pain and heartbreak that come from abuse are not beneficial at all. Even if abuse makes you strong, it scars you. It makes you negative, angry, aggressive, egoistic, lack empathy and sympathy, mean, anxious, etc.

In conclusion, love and heartbreak are equally important. But still, you can and you must try to minimize the amount of heartbreak you receive, maximize the amount of love you give and receive, and avoid damages at all costs.

Disclaimer: I know not all people can stop having bad/harmful heartbreaks. I know many people struggle with abusive “love”. I know many people are being emotionally manipulated. I’m sending love to you – you and your problems are valid, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m sorry if this post triggers and/or offend you. I have no bad intentions, and I’m here to promote self-love and healthy positivity. Once again, I’m sending love to everyone reading this. You matter.

Eternally Chanel loves you.

Not Today!

Hi, so today’s NOT the day I release the April issue of Eternally Chanel. Sorry about that.

To make amends, here’s some styling tips for you:

  1. NEVER experiment with hats or caps. Never.
  2. NEVER experiment with bright colors.
  3. NEVER experiment with too much accessories.

Anyway, to not get your hopes up, I won’t tell you the date and time of the April issue yet. Please do not wait.
